Great Clips

Came in today to get my daughter a haircut to look good for school we started out with one gal. Two gentlemen came in and asked for the same lady that was cutting our hair. She then stopped The haircut asked another woman to finish my daughter’s haircut and the lady was nice. Don’t get me wrong but the haircut is not good at all it’s nowhere near what we asked. It looks choppy it’s crooked. It looks ok when it was wet. when we dried it it just is not what she wanted. She’s getting ready to start sixth grade and she is in her room crying about how bad it is. It’s honestly just sad trying to set her up with confidence for this next year and now she’s crying. Wont be going back.

I went in today for a haircut, and while the usual staff were friendly, I had a significant issue with the service I received. I have an illness that affects my hair, making it thin and altering its texture, so I am extremely particular about my hairstyles to avoid looking bald. I was very clear during the consultation about my expectations. My hair was down to the middle of my back, and I specifically requested a choppy, wispy cut with bangs that are significantly longer than the back. I emphasized that I did not want an "A-line" or straight cut style. After she had finished and had me put my glasses back on and I said this was not what I had asked for, the stylist kept putting the scissors to my hair as I was trying to get up to check out. She kept saying "you want me to cut the back shorter to make the angle. I was literally trying to get up from the chair as she was doing so to "fix" it. If I let her cut anymore off the front or back, it would have been a fade! The result was a straight bob that ended up at my chin—not at all what I wanted. Because I have to remove my glasses during the haircut, I couldn't monitor the progress, which made it even more frustrating to see the final result that did not align with my request. To make matters worse, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the mistake, only a blame game at checkout. A simple apology from Emily, the stylist, would have gone a long way in addressing the situation, but instead, it fell on the stylist who checked me out and she wasnt the one who messed my hair up, so why did she have to express accountability and not Emily? While Emily was pleasant conversationalist, her listening skills and understanding of my request were lacking, and her lack of accountability is something she needs to improve. I cannot recommend her for haircuts, though I have had positive experiences from a few other stylists in the salon. ***Mind you, the photo (the blond with the arrow on it) is the exact one I showed to her of what I wanted and the other photo is the result of her "listening to me". Not only that, but my hair was down to the middle of my back before she cut it and I reiterated the same thing throughout the cut of wanting a "Wispy/choppy style of layers, no straight line look and back tapered into a much longer front".

I went in today. My hairdresser was kind, but she didn’t pay much attention to detail since she was moving insanely fast. I had asked her to cut the front from my eyes to about halfway down my forehead so that I could still cover up my horrendous hairline, but she went way too short. Also, she unevenly cut my sideburns so that the end of my right side is straight, my left end is diagonal, and they are noticeably uneven in length. Tragic.

Lisa has been cutting my hair for a few years. She’s always friendly and ready to try new cuts when I suggest something. Her intuition on what I really want is awesome. I wouldn’t even consider using another stylist.

I had an amazing experience at this Great Clips location! For a person who typically struggles to get my hair done right, it was quite a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere in the salon is relaxing, modern, and impeccably clean. Louise always does a phenomenal job and is very knowledgeable about the styles.

I have been going to Great Clips on 120rh in Broomfield for several years. I am always very pleased with the service I get. Not just the hair cut, but the politeness and courtesy from the staff. I like that they keep notes on the style I like and review them prior to my haircut. They also check with me at the end to ensure I am satisfied. A few times, I have wanted to try a new/different style and they are helpful in helping me understand if that particular style will be compatible with my hair texture and age. I love this particular salon and the staff.

Did not accept my coupon. If you are going to send coupons, at least accept them or don't waste my time. Left tip, but shouldn't have. My never go there again.
